Resource comsumption of Kong

Hi, we are needing an API Gateway and evaluating available open source options.

One of the characters my boss cares about is whether it consumes resources much. (the hardware that runs our system need not to be powerful.)

Where can I find some comparison between Kong and others?

I guess Kong is lightweight since it’s nginx (in C) plus Lua, but I don’t find any number and can’t confirm my guess.

This is the memory usage in my setup. Is this as expected?

The above graph shows an increase of about 1MB so it is hard to say anything.

In general, Kong heavily relies on caching backed my your system’s memory.
