We were wondering if there’s any particular reason the JWT plugin is missing RS384 & RS512 support.
We took a look at the Kong codebase and it seems it would be relatively easy to add, so we are considering contributing it via PR:
- The parser at
kong/plugins/jwt/jwt_parser.luahas branching code for the different algorithms - The Lua openssl library seems to support both algorithms https://github.com/fffonion/lua-resty-openssl#restyopensslpkey
Could any of the maintainers give us a heads-up about this and if it would be welcome, before spending any dev time?
