I have read this article and I want to use Kong Manager, instead of Konga, to manage product APIs. Can I use Kong Gateway Enterprise edition in free mode for commercial use?
Thanks for the question @jaypung ! The full text of the license is at https://konghq.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Kong-Software-License-Agreement-20-April-2021.pdf . There’s no specific restriction in the license about using the software in a commercial enterprise (e.g. if you work for a for-profit company and want to deploy the build). There is a provision in there about reselling it or similar – we don’t want you to take the free software and then turn around and sell it for example. So it might depend on what you mean by “commercial use.”
