HTTPS health checks

Can anyone confirm if the updated kong version (0.14.1) with lua-resty-healthcheck/0.5.0-1 allows HTTPS health checks in addition to HTTP health checks?

Hi,

No, sorry, Kong 0.14.1 does not allow for HTTPS healthchecks. While the underlying library does, there is more work to be done on the Kong side to integrate it. It is on our short term radar but we have no release deadline to provide yet.

I want to upvote this request as https upstream health check is also important. Is it possible to get this in upcoming Kong version.

Kong 1.0 ships with https healthchecks support. We are currently in the release cycle process of which 1.0.0rc3 is the latest available version.
