@gargitalukdar are you aware of Tags on entities? You can add any simple string, or “key=value” style data to entities using tags.

@rick , I believe tags are used to group the entities and deployment purposes. That is why I am checking the option for a description field.

@gargitalukdar Tags can be used by decK to filter entities it manages, but that is not the only usage of them. If you add a description=foo it does not prevent you from using tags for --select-tag behavior in deck (if i understand correctly).
