# Will Kong support integrate with envoy

Hi, as we can see that servicemesh with istio is very popular current now. and in my project, i just want use kong as API Gateway as before, and sidecar is envoy. so there is support with K8S ingress controller, but i also want to see that kong can do something with envoy, like xDS support.
