# Request Transformer Plug in

Is there any way to intercept the incoming request header filed and value, and add it to request transformer plug dynamically. so that my API can get the required data from header.

for example something like ,

curl -X POST [http://52.14.12.168:8001/routes/authentication-service-route/plugins](http://52.14.12.168:8001/routes/authentication-service-route/plugins)   
-d ‘name=request-transformer’   
-d ‘config.add.headers=x-forwared-url: **$header.url** ’   
-d ‘enabled=true’

header to header ??? header already exists, so why add it

query to header  
cookie to header.
