# Kong metrics in Datadog

Hi Team,  
We are trying to push metrics to datadog through datadog plugin provided by Kong. We want to enable datadog plugin globally. We are unable to get Kong metrics in datadog. We’ve added **KongClusterPlugin** and **KongPlugin** in cluster. We are following this docs [Datadog plugin | Kong Docs](https://docs.konghq.com/hub/kong-inc/datadog/) for plugin configuration.

Config which added:

```auto
apiVersion: configuration.konghq.com/v1
kind: KongClusterPlugin
metadata:
  name: datadog-monitor
  annotations:
    kubernetes.io/ingress.class: kong-internal
  labels:
    global: "true"
config:
  host: datadog-agent.monitoring.svc.cluster.local
  port: 8125
  prefix: kong
plugin: datadog

```
