# Kong API Gateway support in Okta or OAuth 2.0

I am trying to use the OAuth 2.0 plugin to work with github or google OAuth 2.0 Applications, but its don’t work and the documentation not covering it.

Hello! Note that the Oauth2 plug-in only supports Kong as an auth provider. To support others, you need to use [https://docs.konghq.com/hub/kong-inc/oauth2-introspection/](https://docs.konghq.com/hub/kong-inc/oauth2-introspection/) or even better, OIDC: [https://docs.konghq.com/hub/kong-inc/openid-connect/](https://docs.konghq.com/hub/kong-inc/openid-connect/)

Both come with Kong Enterprise.
