# Getting debug information from kong?

Hi All,

I have just been able to get Kong and Konga working in docker-compose and am trying to figure out a simple way to see what Kong is sending to an upstream server as well as what is coming back but have not found an easy way to do that yet.

The reason is that I “think” that I am followed a tutorial correctly to setup a service and route but am not getting back any results except “http 404” from the [http://jsonplaceholder.byticode.com](http://jsonplaceholder.byticode.com) test site.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can see exactly what is being sent?
