# Default logs in JSON

Solved, i´ve created a new custom-nginx.template with this:

http {  
log\_format json\_combined escape=json  
‘{’  
‘“time\_local”:"$time\_iso8601",’  
‘“remote\_addr”:"$remote\_addr",’  
‘“request”:"$request",’  
‘“status”: “$status”,’  
‘“request\_time”:"$request\_time",’  
‘“connection\_requests”:"$connection\_requests",’  
‘“http\_user\_agent”:"$http\_user\_agent"’  
‘}’;

access\_log ${{PROXY\_ACCESS\_LOG}} json\_combined;

include ‘nginx-kong-template.conf’;  
}

and on start do kong start -c kong.yml --nginx-conf custom-nginx.template
