# Community edition at scale

Are there major concerns when running the Kong Community edition at high scale? 50 million requests per day. Their website says that the free edition has a limit of 1 million requests per month but I assume its the hosted version they are talking about.

Open Source / Community Edition is capable of high scale as long as the underlying infrastructure supports it.
